Senior Assurance Professional

We are seeking a senior assurance professional to join our team.

This role involves serving as a senior assurance professional on engagements through all phases of the audit process with minimal supervision, in various industries.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our firm's core values and service standards, researching and analyzing financial statement issues, contributing to the assurance workflow by identifying, analyzing, and articulating problems and opportunities, and proposing solutions to client issues.

They will also gain a comprehensive understanding of company operations to assess internal controls and provide business process solutions to client management, effectively communicate timely results both internally and externally on project and client information, maintain positive, professional relationships with clients, carry moderately complex tasks through to completion, supervise and coach staff and interns on detailed engagements for moderately complex to less complex clients, stay up-to-date with relevant computer software applications and use them efficiently, understand job performance economics and firm operations by reviewing constraints, attend Level 3, 4, and 5 assurance training sessions, participate in professional and business organizations as requested, support client development and marketing efforts as needed, and assist with staff recruiting activities and events to support firm recruiting efforts.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college, compliance with the 150 hour rule and/or a CPA certification, two to four years recent public accounting experience, understanding of generally accepted auditing standards and industry-specific rules, proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word, strong research, organizational, computer, and analytical skills, desire to provide exceptional client service with high integrity, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college.
