Job Overview

Our organization provides case management and individualized support to people in the community, focusing on protecting the community and reducing reoffending.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference as a Senior Case Manager in our organization.

The Senior Case Manager ensures high community safety through case management of adults subject to community orders. They assess risk and need, maintain high standards of assessment practices, and facilitate effective supervision to improve reintegration and rehabilitation of individuals under community-based orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate and resolve conflicts with internal and external stakeholders to achieve service delivery goals and commitments.
  • Work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate experience working within a legislative framework for core service delivery.
  • Build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and organizations.
  • Develop and communicate complex information to key stakeholders, considering their competing interests.
  • Utilize well-developed written and oral communication skills to ensure effective collaboration and information exchange.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A valid Australian driver's license (minimum C class) is required for frequent travel and work across various locations.
  • Candidates may be required to work extended hours, travel to other locations, or temporarily work from alternate sites.
  • Permanent or temporary employees must complete the Certificate IV in Correctional Practice (Community) within 12 months of employment and achieve certification within 18 months.
