Job Title:

A Senior Compliance Officer is sought to manage compliance programs and ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks.

About the Role:

This position involves developing policies, implementing SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2, and overseeing technical controls in cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, and Azure platforms.

Responsibilities:
  • Policy Development: Create, write, and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and other relevant standards.
  • SOC 2 Implementation: Manage and execute SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2 implementation projects, including designing and implementing technical controls.
  • Cloud Security: Implement and oversee technical controls in cloud environments, ensuring security best practices are integrated into workflows.
  • Leadership: Direct daily operations of a small team, driving success through effective leadership and communication.
  • Risk Management: Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and ensure continuous improvement of security posture.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Coordinate with different teams to ensure compliance and security best practices are integrated into their workflows.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree: In Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years managing a small team and experience in managing compliance programs.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, and Azure platforms, as well as knowledge of SOC 2 and ISO 27001 frameworks.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and writing skills, ability to work independently with a strong sense of initiative.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Security Training: Experience conducting security training and awareness programs.
  • Additional Frameworks: Familiarity with other compliance frameworks and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
