Senior Auditor Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior auditor to lead external audits of not-for-profit organisations and trust accounts in accordance with relevant Australian legislation.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement and manage audit plans aligned with Australian Auditing Standards.
  • Provide guidance on internal controls, risk management and technical accounting issues.

Requirements
  • A minimum of five years' experience in external audits, including not-for-profit and trust accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Auditing Standards, AASB frameworks and not-for-profit compliance.
  • Experience testing controls over payroll, procurement, revenue recognition and grant acquittals.
  • Excellent communication skills for reports, client liaison and presentations.
  • Reliable internet access and suitable hardware.

About the Job

This is a part-time role, 20 hours per week, with flexibility to increase. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Australian auditing standards and regulations.
