Senior Scrum Master Role

Our organization is seeking a skilled Senior Scrum Master to support our Engineering Scrum Teams. This individual will play a vital role in guiding the teams, removing blockers, and ensuring they have the necessary resources to succeed.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Facilitating effective communication among team members
  • Ensuring all parties are informed of project progress
  • Providing timely feedback to stakeholders
  • Championing agile values, principles, and practices within the organization
  • Onboarding, training, and mentoring scrum team members
  • Facilitating scrum ceremonies, including stand-up meetings, sprint meetings, retrospectives, etc.
  • Assisting Product Owners in refining, arranging, and optimizing product backlogs
  • Removing obstacles hindering team progress
  • Adjusting Agile practices to enhance software delivery
  • Coordinating release planning and deployment activities

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or similar role
    • Strong working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Agile Scrum Master Certification (strongly preferred)
