Job Opportunity

The Partnership Facilitator II role is a key position in local church development, involving strengthening ownership, capacity, and resources to minister to children and youth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote awareness about the needs of vulnerable children, prioritizing their protection and reporting concerns of abuse or neglect.
  • Demonstrate commitment to serving, respecting, and empowering the local church.
  • Strengthen church ownership and capacity through developmental approaches.
  • Facilitate reflection and planning with church partners to enhance capacity and maturity.
  • Support strategies to engage parents, caregivers, children, and youth in local communities.
  • Collaborate with pastors and church staff to identify capacity development needs.
  • Support the mobilization of local resources and sharing among churches.
  • Provide support to each church partner, tailoring facilitation plans to individual needs.
  • Oversee cluster operations, fostering relationships and collaboration among churches.
  • Foster the adoption of child protection standards and manage incident reporting among church partners.
  • Contribute to program and partnership management objectives, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Social Sciences, or related fields.
  • Residency in Masbate or Sorsogon, or nearby provinces, with strong local community ties.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in community development or partnership management.
  • Experience in program cycle management for WASH, Education, and Livelihood projects.
  • Proficiency in report writing and impact assessment.
  • Experience in financial management, facilitation, and liaison roles.
  • Ability to develop networks and mobilize resources.
  • Active membership in a local church, passionate about serving children and churches.
  • Church leadership or administrative experience is an asset.
