Job Title: Customer Outreach Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Customer Outreach Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for initiating contact with potential customers, gathering information, qualifying leads, and generating opportunities for the sales team.

This role combines research, outbound calling, and data management to build a steady stream of qualified leads. You will work closely with the sales team to identify target markets and strategize on outreach methods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Outbound Calling
    • Make outbound calls to prospects to introduce products or services, engage interest, and assess potential leads
    • Qualify prospects based on established criteria to determine if they are a good fit for our company's products or services
    • Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while managing objections and addressing any initial questions
  • Lead Generation and Qualification
    • Research target markets to identify new potential customers using various online sources, directories, and social media
    • Build and maintain a database of qualified leads for the sales team, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date
    • Segment leads according to industry, company size, location, and other criteria to optimize outreach efforts
  • CRM and Data Management
    • Record lead interactions, call outcomes, and key information in the CRM system, ensuring complete and accurate documentation
    • Regularly update the lead database and ensure data quality, including removing duplicates, correcting errors, and adding new data as required
  • Collaboration with Sales and Marketing
    • Collaborate with the sales team to identify target markets and strategize on outreach methods
    • Work with the marketing team to develop scripts and campaigns tailored to various lead segments
    • Report lead quality and provide feedback on successful conversion patterns to improve future lead-generation efforts
Requirements:
  • Experience in telemarketing, outbound sales, or lead generation
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to research effectively and identify key decision-makers within companies
  • Excellent data entry skills with attention to accuracy and detail
