Procurement Expert - Asia Pacific Region

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced procurement expert to join our team in the Asia Pacific region. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for managing the entire procurement lifecycle, from sourcing and tendering to contract management and supplier relationship building.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to identify and address procurement needs, develop and implement procurement strategies, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement procurement plans and strategies that align with organizational objectives
  • Source and tender for goods, services, and works, ensuring competitive pricing and quality
  • Manage contracts and supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery and high-quality products or services
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements
  • Analyze and report on procurement metrics and performance indicators
  • Provide training and support to staff on procurement policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a similar role
  • Proven track record of delivering cost savings and improving efficiency through effective procurement strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Familiarity with procurement software and systems, such as ERP and e-sourcing platforms
