Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead a team of utility engineers and drive operational excellence in the electric utility sector.

  • This role is responsible for managing a team, overseeing asset cataloging, identifying equipment issues, and ensuring data accuracy and compliance with project standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of Utility Engineers to ensure high-quality inspections and data accuracy.
  • Oversee the cataloging of utility assets and identification of equipment issues or hazards.
  • Ensure quality control of work packages and compliance with project standards.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to junior engineers.
  • Collaborate with utility companies to ensure project goals and deliverables are met.
  • Work closely with internal teams to align data accuracy with industry standards.
  • Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices to enhance operational effectiveness.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in the electric utility field (preferred).
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient computer skills with good written and oral communication abilities.
  • Working knowledge of the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC), national engineering standards, utility construction standards, and best industry engineering practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
