Job Overview

The Sustainability and Climate Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting the sustainability advisory team.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Gather ESG data from company disclosures, including sustainability reports, annual reports, proxy reports, and websites.
  • Develop expertise on ESG themes associated with corporates and how investors use this information to make investment decisions.
  • Support greenhouse gas footprinting projects, regulatory reporting projects, and other initiatives.
  • Maintain corporate and investor ESG data sets.
  • Design standardized PowerPoint decks for clients.
  • Conduct corporate ESG rating review exercises.
  • Update internal processes and procedures.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Climate Science, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience in financial services, ESG research, sustainable finance, credit ratings, thinktanks focused on sustainability, or academic research institutes.
  • Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills, with general tech-savviness.
  • Fluency in English with effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A well-organized person, able to manage multiple assignments.
  • Strong research skills, including planning, delivery, communications, multi-tasking, and time management.
  • High analytical skills, with an ability to see the bigger picture while maintaining attention to detail.
