About the Role

The ESG & Sustainability Consultant / Specialist will play a client-facing role, guiding organizations in aligning their sustainability strategies with globally recognized frameworks and reporting standards. The consultant will lead engagements, advise on ESG disclosures, and support clients in delivering impactful sustainability initiatives across industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage client engagements related to ESG strategy, sustainability reporting, and compliance.
  • Advise clients on reporting frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, and CSRD.
  • Conduct ESG materiality assessments, gap analyses, and benchmarking studies.
  • Support clients in preparing ESG / sustainability reports and disclosures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality project delivery.
  • Manage multiple client deliverables simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Stay up to date on ESG regulatory requirements, best practices, and market trends.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience in ESG reporting, corporate sustainability, or consulting.
  • Strong understanding of ESG frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD, CSRD).
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with client-facing experience.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Business, Economics, or related field.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and sustainability strategy development.
  • Familiarity with ESG data management tools or software.
  • Consulting background with exposure to multiple industries.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
