About this role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Sustainability Analyst. This is a permanent full-time role based in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, following a hybrid work model setup.

As a Sustainability Analyst, you will play a key role in helping companies strengthen and transform their ESG strategies by connecting them with sustainable investors through proprietary ESG datasets.

Your primary responsibility will be to systematically gather ESG data from company disclosures, develop knowledge and expertise on ESG themes associated with corporates and how investors consume this information to make investment decisions.

Key responsibilities
  • Supporting GHG footprinting projects
  • Supporting CSRD and other regulatory reporting projects
  • Developing and maintaining corporate and investor ESG data sets
  • Developing standardized PowerPoint decks for corporate clients
  • Conducting corporate ESG rating review exercises
  • Updating descriptions of procedures and internal processes
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Climate Science, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • At least two years of proven experience in financial services, ESG research/Sustainable finance/Credit Ratings, thinktanks focused on sustainability, or academic research institutes
  • Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills and general tech-savviness
  • Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Well-organized with strong research skills, able to balance multiple assignments
  • High analytical skills, with attention to detail and ability to see the bigger picture
  • Collaborative mindset, with experience working independently while adhering to deadlines and production volumes
