
IT Senior Change Manager

- Own and continuously mature the Change Management lifecycle in alignment with ITIL best practices.
- Ensure standardized, scalable methods are embedded across IT and project teams.
- Embed change methodology into the broader service management framework. - Coordinate with Incident and Problem Managers to minimize change-related incidents.
- Work closely with impacted business units to provide timely updates and resolve issues.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships to enable seamless change execution. - Review, assess, and authorize changes to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.
- Provide governance and gatekeeping across high-risk, complex, and cross-functional changes.
- Support compliance with audit and regulatory requirements. - Lead Change Advisory Board (CAB) and Emergency CAB sessions to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Engage executive sponsors and senior stakeholders for alignment and accountability.
- Provide strategic direction on change prioritization and risk thresholds. - Conduct business impact and readiness assessments; implement resistance management plans.
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment with operations, digital, marketing, and customer-facing teams.
- Ensure leadership support through continuous engagement and enablement. - Maintain and manage an enterprise-wide change calendar, initially starting within the IT Department
- Coordinate schedules with deployment and support teams to prevent conflicts.
- Improve predictability and visibility of change events. - Define and track KPIs: Change Success Rate, Emergency Change Ratio, Rollback Rate, and Time-to-Implement.
- Use data analytics to drive root cause analysis and process improvement.
- Report change performance trends and propose optimization strategies. - Automate approval workflows, change records, and reporting using tools like Jira or ServiceNow.
- Align change processes with Agile, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps delivery models.
- Promote use of Standard Change Models for recurring and low-risk changes. - Provide detailed impact assessments for business-critical and high-risk changes.
- Identify interdependencies, regulatory implications, and downstream system effects.
- Recommend mitigation tactics and lead risk resolution planning. - Lead training and onboarding of change practices across IT and business units.
- Develop and distribute change communication and adoption plans.
- Ensure changes are embedded and sustained post-implementation.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years in Change Management, ideally in an enterprise environment
- Deep experience with ITIL-based change process management
- Strong background in infrastructure, application, or network systems - ITIL v3 or v4 (Managing Professional or Strategic Leader track preferred)
- Background in ISO 20000 / ISO 27001 or similar standards (desired but not required)
- PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile certifications are a plus - Excellent knowledge of IT change lifecycle, governance, and risk mitigation
- Skilled in running CAB and eCAB meetings
- Deep familiarity with JIRA Service Management
- Strong communication and influence across all levels
- Analytical thinking, with ability to assess risk and business impact
- Familiarity with DevOps-aligned practices (e.g., Standard Change Models, CI/CD change support)
