About the Role

The Pollution Control Officer plays a crucial role in preserving and protecting natural resources by reducing waste generation and implementing pollution control measures.

This position requires a high level of expertise in environmental management and regulations, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Environmental Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement comprehensive environmental work plans and programs to reduce waste and pollution.
  2. Communication and Liaison: Communicate environmental guidelines and programs to department heads and maintain liaison with local pollution control officers.
  3. Compliance and Enforcement: Monitor and enforce compliance with environmental regulations and requirements, conducting regular audits and incident investigations as needed.
  4. Hazardous Waste Disposal: Assist with the proper disposal of hazardous waste, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (preferably licensed).

  • Skillset: Familiarity with pollution control facility operation and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
