Operational Excellence Specialist - Business Process Improvement

We are seeking a highly skilled Operational Excellence Specialist to lead and support initiatives focused on enhancing operational performance, optimizing workflows, and driving continuous improvement across departments.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business process optimization, with practical experience using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies. They will be responsible for evaluating existing workflows and operational procedures, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing sustainable solutions aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate current business processes to identify opportunities for enhancement.
  • Lead process improvement projects from initiation to implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Apply methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen to redesign and streamline workflows, reduce waste, and improve service quality.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and process mapping sessions with internal stakeholders.
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), process documentation, key performance indicators (KPIs), and training materials for newly implemented workflows.
  • Track performance metrics and analyze post-implementation results to ensure improvement sustainability.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in process improvement, operations consulting, or business transformation, preferably in a shared services environment.
  • Certification in Lean, Six Sigma (Yellow or Green Belt minimum), or related methodology is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; experience with process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) preferred.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Comfortable working across departments and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
