Network Infrastructure Professional

Job Summary:

Assist the business development team with client engagement and solution design. Develop implementation plans, test plans, and project timelines for network projects.

  • Develop vendor quotes for network hardware, licensing, and support contracts.
  • Implement, maintain, and manage an enterprise-wide network infrastructure hierarchy.
  • Maintain knowledge of the network environment in conjunction with business applications and systems.
  • Ensure high availability through preventive maintenance programs.
  • Develop and document system standards for computer/network devices and update documentation of the networking environment.
  • Work within established configuration and change management policies.
  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades.
  • Proactively monitor LAN/WAN performance and trending to ensure system availability and reliability.
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
  • Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures.
  • Report network status to key stakeholders.
