Job Overview

The Office Administrator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our vaccination center's front office. This position involves providing exceptional patient care, supporting nursing staff, and executing various administrative tasks to enhance patient satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Experience: Greet patients upon arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere and positive experience.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Efficiently manage the clinic's calendar, scheduling patient appointments with minimal wait times.
  • Information Collection: Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical histories.
  • Staff Support: Assist nursing staff with patients, ensuring necessary documentation is completed accurately.
  • Communication: Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate personnel.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain patient records, adhering to confidentiality and healthcare regulations.
  • Financial Transactions: Handle billing and payment processing for patient payments.
  • Inventory Management: Coordinate inventory, including ordering and stocking office supplies.
Qualifications
  • Education: College Graduate; additional education in healthcare administration or a related field is advantageous.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
