Job Overview

MCI is a leading Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company that specializes in delivering tailored solutions to meet the diverse needs of its clients.

We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated agents to work on a temporary, remote basis in response to disaster relief efforts. The ideal candidate will apply customer service techniques and learn account management systems while helping improve the customers' experience during a difficult time.

Candidates accepted for this role will be contacted by email and text on an as-needed basis. Work hours are from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM ET, with shifts from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers with service inquiries and provide exceptional solutions to simple requests.
  • Learn common requests and solutions, and utilize our service techniques and systems.
  • Improve the customers' experience by resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Escalate customer dissatisfaction to proper channels when necessary.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
  • The ability to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words per minute).
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems.
  • Highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
  • The ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow up on customer issues.
  • Aptitude for conflict resolution, problem solving, and negotiation.
  • Customer service oriented (empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious).
  • Ability to multi-task, stay focused, and self-manage.
  • Strong team orientation and customer focus.
  • Thriving in a fast-paced environment where change and ambiguity are prevalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers.
