Compensation Officer

We're seeking an experienced Employee Compensation Officer to join our team as a Payroll Specialist. In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting payroll processing, ensuring accurate reporting, and providing exceptional customer service to our Australian clients.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative team that's shaping the future of employment. As a Payroll Specialist, you'll work closely with our Payroll Team Leader to build strong relationships with payroll partners, manage account communication, and uphold compliance with information security policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the preparation of payroll and payroll reports as indicated by the Payroll Team Leader.
  • Provide proactive customer service in all dealings with our Australian staff, ensuring timely and effective resolution of queries and concerns.
  • Perform ad-hoc payroll functions as required, working closely with the Payroll Business Partner to identify and address any issues or discrepancies.
  • Build and develop relationships with payroll partners to establish trust and credibility as an outsourced partner.
Requirements
  • 1-4 years of experience in payroll, accounting, finance, or data entry, with a proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Australian and/or New Zealand Payroll Knowledge, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant laws and regulations.
  • Basic Excel skills to efficiently manage and analyse payroll data, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
  • Strong customer service mindset, with the ability to build relationships with payroll partners and support Australian clients.
