Financial Process Optimization Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to lead the improvement of financial processes by leveraging technology and innovation. This role will focus on streamlining operations, implementing automation, and integrating systems to enhance overall efficiency.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, including experience with SaaS technologies like Sage Intacct and Workday. They should also have excellent problem-solving abilities, be able to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, and have a proven track record of successfully managing change initiatives.

About the Role- Collaborate with finance and payroll/payout team members to identify and implement improvements to business processes, focusing on leveraging technology for increased efficiency.
- Work with the Enterprise Applications team to ensure changes align with overall business objectives and technology strategies.
- Maintain, configure, and optimize SaaS technologies, including Sage Intacct and Workday, to support financial operations.
- Prepare documentation to ensure stakeholders understand changes, systems, and processes related to financial technology.
- Project manage change initiatives to ensure optimal results and thorough understanding of the work being undertaken.
- Troubleshoot issues related to financial systems and implement solutions, including systemic changes to prevent recurrence.
- Minimum 3 years of experience administering and/or implementing SaaS technologies, particularly Sage Intacct and/or Workday.
- Significant financial technical consulting experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding of core financial processes.
- Experience operating in a consultative role to understand and meet the needs of multiple stakeholders within finance.
- Basic knowledge of APIs, JSON, and systems integration principles.
- Familiarity with AI technologies and how they might be applied to finance.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with out-of-the-box thinking to leverage flexible systems and processes.
- Strong sense of personal accountability and ability to work independently.
- Ability to communicate with and influence cross-functional stakeholders and work collaboratively.
- High emotional intelligence and sense of humor.
