Architectural Drafter Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Drafter to join our team.

This role involves preparing detailed construction drawings, specifications, and documentation. You will work collaboratively with architects and engineers to ensure design concepts are accurately translated into technical drawings and specifications.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Produce detailed architectural drawings and specifications using Revit
  • Prepare construction detailing and spec sheets with a high level of accuracy
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure the accuracy and feasibility of designs
  • Revise and update drawings based on feedback and design changes
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architectural Drafting, Architecture, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of professional experience using Revit for drafting and detailing
  • Extensive experience in construction detailing and preparing spec sheets
  • Proficiency in Revit and other drafting tools such as AutoCAD
  • Strong understanding of architectural design and construction processes
PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Experience with project management software for tracking design progress
  • Familiarity with sustainable design and green building practices
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
