**Job Title:** Data Scientist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled data scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in machine learning, statistics, and data manipulation. They will be responsible for leading the development of predictive models and advanced analytics to uncover user behaviors and content trends.

The successful candidate will have experience with big data platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Apache Airflow, and Databricks. They will also be proficient in programming languages such as Python and SQL.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines, reporting tools, and dashboards
  • Collaborate across editorial, marketing, and commercial teams to deliver data-driven strategies
  • Champion A/B testing and experimentation frameworks to optimize content performance
  • Contribute to the architecture and integrity of our data warehouse
Requirements:
  • 5+ years in data science, with a strong foundation in machine learning, statistics, and data manipulation
  • 2+ years in a leadership or team lead role
  • Advanced proficiency in Python, R, and SQL
  • Familiarity with ETL pipelines and data warehousing concepts
  • Experience with Jupyter Notebooks, Git, and Agile workflows
  • Degree in Statistics, Data Science, Applied Math, or a related field
