About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Compensation Analyst to join our team at RELX. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing compensation programs for sales personnel, including sales plan analysis and design, calculation of plan payments and trend analysis.

As a Sales Compensation Analyst, you will work closely with the Sales, Finance, HR and Operations teams to improve the effectiveness of the sales team by developing, calculating and delivering sales compensation results. You will also be responsible for highlighting risks and opportunities within the compensation team and contributing to territory management, quota design, and partnering with the Sales Business Intelligence & Reporting team to support sales reporting initiatives.

  • Create and deliver reporting to the sales organization based on sales actuals during the plan year.
  • Play a key role in the monthly processing of sales reports, compensation calculators and payout statements.
  • Develop and use analytics and trend analysis to predict yearly accrual performance and plan design flaws.
  • Deliver and monitor new hire reports to ensure compensation documents are delivered on time.
  • Highlight sales representative performance to plan, stacked rankings, outliers and exceptions within the compensation plan design.
  • Coach sales managers and sales reps in compensation plan mechanics and a full understanding of compensation payouts.
