Dental Claims Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled and organized Dental Claims Specialist to excel in delivering top-notch customer service. This role is critical in upholding our commitment to quality and integrity.

  • Follow-up on outstanding insurance claims, ensuring all follow-ups are properly documented and communicated.
  • Process and send out claims and attachments to insurance companies in a timely manner.
  • Validate denial reasons and address them accordingly.
  • Generate reports and ensure timely completion.
  • Resubmit and reprocess claims, including grievances and appeals.
  • Clear rejected claims regularly.
  • Update the office tracker with payments posted (check scans and EFTs) and confirm addressed rejected claims.
  • Complete assigned follow-ups from office spreadsheets efficiently.
  • Retrieve EOBs from insurance portals for posting and generate EFT reports accurately.
  • Post insurance payments according to established procedures, uploading EOBs and applying corrections as needed.
  • Stay informed about industry updates and issues, communicating findings with the team effectively.
  • Maintain professionalism at all times, adhering to work ethics and schedules.
Requirements
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Background in dental insurance or collections industries preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on collections experience required.
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Outstanding organizational, time management, and follow-up skills essential.
