Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the general accounting functions, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strategies to minimize financial risk and ensure the company's financial wellbeing.
  • Supervise the general ledger accounting functions, including accounts receivable and payable, inventory management, and financial reporting.
  • Work with internal and external auditors to ensure accurate and timely closing and year-end reporting.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including budgeting and forecasting, to inform business decisions.
  • Lead and motivate accounting staff members, providing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Ensure accurate and complete financial records, participating in audits and reconciliations as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting and finance, with a strong understanding of financial management principles.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with financial systems, such as SAP.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is an advantage.
