About The Opportunity

The Payroll Specialist II is responsible for processing end-to-end payroll, encompassing all aspects from initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure precise and timely execution of payroll impacting changes, tax forms, payments, and payroll processing for assigned clients.
  • Maintain quality control and auditing to guarantee accuracy and low error or defect percentage.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve client payroll matters and employee inquiries, providing ongoing daily support and subject matter expertise.
  • Deliver HR/Payroll support services to clients according to contractual obligations, government regulations, and business requirements.
  • Create, update, and review standard operating procedures and perform quarterly document reviews.
  • Evaluate deliverables and projects from start to finish, adopting an ownership mindset.
  • Manage client and consumer tasks within the task management system, ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate, and timely.
  • Proactively manage quarter and year-end payroll auditing, identifying potential issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Exercise forward-thinking, identifying opportunities and taking proactive steps to contribute to process improvements.
  • Aim to become a Subject Matter Expert in their field.
  • Promote customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service.
  • Foster effective teamwork.
  • Proactively highlight potential risks.
  • Meet or exceed process Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Execute corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of complaints.
  • Document key delivery data for metrics purposes.
  • Deliver tasks in accordance with agreed schedules, procedures, and standards.
