Accounting Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced accounting leader to oversee the financial operations of our organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, consolidating financial statements across multiple subsidiaries, and partnering with operating company controllers to close monthly books.

This role requires strong problem-solving, communication, and independent decision-making skills. You will also need to be proficient in QuickBooks and other accounting software, as well as comfortable working in a fast-paced growth environment.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to build scalable accounting policies and processes for a rapidly growing organization. You will also be responsible for supporting annual tax filings, audits, and purchase price accounting during acquisitions.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have at least 4 years of experience in accounting leadership roles, ideally with exposure to M&A and consolidation. A background in acquisitive companies is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consolidate financial statements across multiple subsidiaries
  • Partner with operating company controllers to close monthly books
  • Oversee holding company accounting functions, including payroll and accounts payable
  • Support annual tax filings, audits, and purchase price accounting during acquisitions
  • Help build scalable accounting policies and processes for a fast-growing organization
Required Qualifications:
  • CPA designation required
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and independent decision-making skills
  • Proficient in QuickBooks and other accounting software
  • Self-starter comfortable in a startup-like environment with evolving policies
