Job Title: Senior Financial Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Manager (CFO) to lead our financial operations, ensure timely settlement of liabilities, and oversee bill approvals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Operations & Compliance: Manage payroll, superannuation, and bill approvals.
  • Receivables & Invoicing: Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on payments, and ensure accurate invoicing.
  • Expense Monitoring & Financial Oversight: Track spending, investigate transactions, and oversee cash flow and liabilities.
  • Bookkeeping Support & Coordination: Provide transaction data to bookkeepers, ensure account reconciliation, and respond to financial inquiries.
  • Reporting & Communication: Prepare financial reports for the Board, assist auditors, and provide financial insights for decision-making.
Requirements:

Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA qualification is essential. 5+ years in a senior financial role, preferably in non-profit or community organizations, with strong knowledge of Australian financial regulations.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in financial planning, analysis, reporting, and policy development.
  • Proficiency in Xero, MS Excel/Google Sheets, and ideally Salesforce.
  • Leadership skills, results-driven, and team-building abilities.
