Job Overview

This role involves overseeing financial operations and reporting functions of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.

The responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial statements, developing financial models, forecasts, and variance analyses, and monitoring budget vs. actual performance.

Additional responsibilities include establishing and maintaining internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets, mitigate financial risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are required to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide accurate and timely reporting of financial results.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop financial models, forecasts, and variance analyses to assess financial performance, identify trends, and evaluate business metrics.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting activities, working closely with department heads and senior management to develop realistic financial plans and targets.
  • Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets, mitigate financial risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
  • 5 years' experience in financial management, accounting, or controller roles, with a strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and standards (GAAP), financial reporting requirements, and internal control frameworks.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling techniques.
  • Experience with ERP systems, financial software applications, and business intelligence tools.
