We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Patient Financial Outreach Representative. This role plays a critical part in ensuring patients are informed about their financial responsibilities prior to appointments and that all financial communications are accurately documented in the Electronic Health Record system.

This is an entry-level, full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong sense of accountability, and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively reach out to patients to review co-pays, balances, and payment options.
  • Provide clear explanations of billing statements and assist with setting up payment plans when needed.
  • Accurately document all patient interactions, financial discussions, and related information in the Electronic Health Record system.
  • Work closely with intake, clinical, and billing teams to ensure accurate information flow.
  • Escalate complex patient or insurance issues for resolution.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Prior experience in medical billing, insurance verification, or healthcare accounts receivable.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  • Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and time management.
  • Ability to manage sensitive patient information with integrity (HIPAA compliance).
  • Comfortable using billing software, EHR systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to provide NBI clearance or Local Police Clearance if requested.
