The Employee Experience team is responsible for creating meaningful experiences for Thumbtack's employees, and we're looking for a skilled coordinator to join our team. As a Senior Events & Offsite Coordinator, you'll play a key role in planning and executing events that bring our employees together.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a fast-paced, dynamic team that values creativity, innovation, and collaboration. You'll have the chance to develop your skills in event planning, operations, and vendor management, and contribute to the creation of engaging and memorable events for our employees.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Coordinating event logistics, including venue sourcing, vendor coordination, and travel arrangements;
  • Managing event communications, including invitations, RSVPs, and reminders;
  • Developing and implementing event plans, including timelines, budgets, and checklists;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and customer success;
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in events coordination, operations, or hospitality;
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Proficiency in event planning software and tools, such as Google Workspace and Swoogo;
  • Experience working with vendors and managing contracts;
  • A growth mindset and a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
