Revenue Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Revenue Accounting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Finance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and compliant revenue recognition.

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical individual who can manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with finance and non-finance stakeholders.

In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing customer contracts, performing revenue allocations, maintaining revenue schedules, and supporting monthly and quarterly closes. You will also help build scalable processes as the business continues to grow and expand globally.

You will work closely with the FP&A team, Commercial Finance, Sales Ops, Legal, AR, and External Auditors to ensure timely and accurate financial data. Your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities will be essential in this role.

The ideal candidate will bring solid accounting experience, preferably in SaaS revenue accounting with a focus on ASC 606. Proficiency with ERP and revenue tools, such as NetSuite and Salesforce, is also required. Additionally, the successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in monthly revenue accounting close activities by preparing journal entries and performing key account reconciliations.
  • Review standard and non-standard contracts to determine the appropriate revenue recognition under U.S. GAAP.
  • Assist in the order to cash process by reviewing submitted sales orders in our accounting system.
  • Manage and maintain Net Suite ARM to ensure accurate and compliant revenue recognition.
  • Work cross-functionally within the organization to drive automation efforts to streamline accounting operations related to revenue accounting.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Proficiency with ERP and revenue tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
