Financial Reporting Specialist

Your Mission

We are seeking a Financial Reporting Specialist to manage financial records, prepare accurate reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Your Role

This role involves a combination of routine accounts receivable functions, payroll processing, accounts payable support, general ledger maintenance, and active participation in special projects. To succeed, you will need strong analytical abilities and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and Maintain Accurate Financial Statements
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts in compliance with US GAAP.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.
  • Perform month-end close activities, including reconciliations, journal entry postings, and accurate, organized reporting.
  • Process monthly revenue tasks, including reconciliations, posting of entries, and resolving discrepancies.

Requirements/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field (CPA preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in accounts receivable, payroll processing, accounts payable, and month-end close procedures.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Knowledgeable in ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
  • Proficiency with accounting software, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
