Senior Quality Analyst Job Description

This role is responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by developing and maintaining automation test suites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT quality assurance, systems/application testing, and Agile Scrum methodology.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develops and maintains automation test suites to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Executes tests and provides reporting/metrics data to stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to establish automation testing architecture and design standards.
  • Advocates for pioneering approaches to testing automation and drives continuous improvement.
  • Participates in daily stand-up meetings and other related Scrum Agile ceremonies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in an applicable area of expertise or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of IT quality assurance and systems/application testing experience.
  • Experience with Test Management Tools, Agile Scrum methodology, and supporting test automation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and systems thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
  • Solid knowledge of QA methodology and tools, with demonstrated experience in a Quality role.

What You Will Do
  • You will develop detailed test cases/test scripts for testing needs.
  • You will perform test data conditioning, functional testing, regression testing, and testing validation.
  • You will manage testing process/workflow to ensure that timelines and deliverables are met.
  • You will contribute to process improvement while establishing best practices for testing.
  • You will participate in Release checkout as needed.
  • You will work productively and effectively with minimal oversight.
