Quality Assurance Engineer

This role involves testing and improving the quality of software applications.

  • Create automated test scripts to ensure that the application works as expected.
  • Execute manual and automated tests, record results, and identify defects or anomalies.
  • Investigate the causes of defects, document them, and track their status.
Responsibilities
  • Work with developers, product owners, and other team members to complete testing tasks.
  • Contribute to improving the QA process and quality standards.
  • Ensure high-quality software releases by identifying and addressing defects early in the development cycle.
  • Determine which testing tools and software are best suited for the task at hand.
  • Diagnose system problems using diagnostic tools.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Microsoft PowerBI and Tableau.
  • Ability to learn new processes, tools, and technologies quickly.
  • Strong research skills and excellent communication skills.
Shift
