We are seeking a highly skilled Learning Experience Designer to join our team.

Job Description:

The Learning Experience Designer will be responsible for creating engaging and effective learning experiences in collaboration with subject matter experts. This role is part of a team that supports the development of learning solutions within a Regional Learning Delivery hub or centre, aligned with the Global Learning Service Delivery Strategy.

The successful candidate will apply best practices in learning technologies and instructional design to create interactive and immersive learning content. This includes working with subject matter experts to identify required learning outcomes and target learner populations, as well as identifying the most appropriate delivery mechanisms (e-learning, virtual classroom, face-to-face, etc.).

The Learning Experience Designer will set instructional end goals and create content that matches them, providing learner interactivity (exercises, activities, etc.) that enhance the learning process and learner experience. They will also devise modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of the course and attainment of knowledge and other specified learner outcomes.

In addition, the Learning Experience Designer will maintain project documentation, version control, and course folders, ensuring the alignment of new content implementation as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
  • Lesson and curriculum planning skills
  • Working knowledge of multiple web design technologies (HTML) and multi-media formats (jpg, mp4, mp3)
  • Visual design skills (e.g. Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio, and video scripts
  • BA or MA degree in instructional design, educational technology, or similar relevant field
  • Certification in Instructional Design (preferred)
