Job Description:

Intecrowd is seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Workday Certified Payroll Consultant. This role involves ensuring the successful deployment of Workday solutions by architecting, configuring, and testing them to meet client-specific needs.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience implementing payroll/absence/time tracking solutions, current active Workday Payroll Certification, and a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience. Additionally, they should have previous consulting experience with a software company and expertise in configuring and deploying Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, Ultimate, or similar applications.

The selected candidate will be responsible for fostering the development of other consultants, supporting proposal preparations, and delivering product demonstrations to clients. They will also work closely with team members and independently manage their workload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise in the Workday Payroll (including Absence or Time Tracking) product suite
  • Lead the following as a member of a deployment team, or coach others to successfully: gather and document client business requirements, design and configure the Workday solution, demonstrate configurations through the development of prototype systems, assist in testing the Workday solution, and complete knowledge transfer to clients
  • Work with confidential client/data conversion team to help convert legacy data into Workday
  • Assist the integration consulting team in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and other third-party or custom solutions
  • Mentor new consultants and serve as a professional role model as well as coach others on product knowledge
  • Resolve complex tasks/requirements when other team members need support
  • Facilitate clients' intellectual and practical adoption of Workday best practices
  • Maintain clients' ongoing satisfaction, ensuring Intecrowd is referenceable and referable once in production
  • Provide regular status reports to the project managers keeping them apprised of overall project status
  • Innovate and suggest new approaches and tools to deploy Workday efficiently and effectively
  • Maintain Workday certifications and qualifications
  • Ensure functional solutions are compatible with downstream data translation (assist integrators in configuring/testing integrations between Workday and external systems)
  • Demonstrate computational thinking. Identify problem components, analyze patterns, remove inefficient configurations or processes, and construct algorithmic solutions scalable to ongoing client needs
  • Contribute to and mold a culture of continuous education amongst your colleagues, mentees, and managers - serve as a professional role model
  • Provide insightful status reports to project managers that highlight risks to project health and improvements in client adoption
