Workday Certified Time and Absence Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Workday Certified Time and Absence Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our deployment team, you will be responsible for ensuring successful deployments by architecting, configuring, and testing Workday solutions to meet the specific needs of clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expertise in the Workday Payroll product suite, with deep experience in Absence & Time Tracking.
  • Lead the following as a member of a deployment team, or coach others to successfully: gather and document client business requirements, design and configure the Workday solution, demonstrate configurations through the development of prototype systems, assist in testing the Workday solution, and complete knowledge transfer to clients.
  • Work with confidential client/data conversion teams to help convert legacy data into Workday.
  • Assist the integration consulting team in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and other third-party or custom solutions.
  • Mentor new consultants and serve as a professional role model, coaching others on product knowledge.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, collaborating effectively and synergistically to team-based projects.
  • Work with team members to address complex tasks/requirements when other team members need support.
  • Facilitate clients' intellectual and practical adoption of Workday best practices.
  • Maintain clients' ongoing satisfaction, ensuring we are referenceable and referable once in production.
  • Provide regular status reports to project managers, keeping them apprised of overall project status.
  • Innovate and suggest new approaches and tools to deploy Workday efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain Workday certifications and qualifications.
  • Ensure functional solutions are compatible with downstream data translation, assisting integrators in configuring/testing integrations between Workday and external systems.
  • Demonstrate computational thinking, identifying problem components, analyzing patterns, removing inefficient configurations or processes, and constructing algorithmic solutions scalable to ongoing client needs.
  • Contribute to and mold a culture of continuous education amongst your colleagues, mentees, and managers – serve as a professional role model.
  • Provide insightful status reports to project managers, highlighting risks to project health and improvements in client adoption.
