Senior Financial Operations Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the financial operations department, you will be responsible for managing the monthly close process, financial reporting, and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the monthly close process, including work-in-process, account analysis, bank reconciliations, and preparing account analysis.
  • Work closely with the Controller to upload TB to the company's financial reporting package, managed through Vena consolidation software, each month with comparison to budget and prior periods.
  • Record WIP monthly based on reports and manage revenue methods, including time card, lump sum projects, and EBITDA adjusted basis.
  • Prepare budgets for each entity and consolidated basis, working closely with the CFO, controller, and FPA to be an integral part of this process.
  • Perform other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, and is a licensed CPA.
  • 5 years' or more experience in finance or accounting department at a mid-size to large entity with multiple entities.
  • Experience in Consolidation and GAAP accounting.
  • Advanced MS Excel knowledge.
  • Experience with integrated accounting systems such as SAP, NetSuite, Salesforce/Accounting Seed.
