Supply Chain Manager Job Description

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for executing and managing stock replenishments from multiple suppliers and plants to distribution centers, ensuring timely delivery of orders to customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a team of analysts to resolve issues affecting execution activities
  • Executing procurement and production planning activities to ensure timely stock replenishment
  • Ensuring customer order deliveries based on the delivery due list by initiating the shipping process
  • Analyzing exception messages from the MRP system and resolving codes according to the Turn Around Time policy
  • Resolving price and quantity discrepancies according to the agreed Turn Around Time policy

Requirements include:

  • Degree/Diploma in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent
  • SAP understanding with 3-5 years experience in MRP, Procurement, Purchasing
  • Planning and experience in Supply Chain Management with 3-5 years
  • People management experience of at least 3-5 years
  • Extensive spreadsheet analysis and strong mathematical abilities
  • Detail-oriented and able to communicate with cross-functional teams

Competencies required include Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers). The job is at mid-senior level, full-time, and focuses on management and manufacturing in appliances, electrical, and electronics manufacturing industries.
