The Compensation and Benefits Analyst role is responsible for efficiently administering and communicating company and statutory benefits programs.
Maintaining and managing compensation and benefits practices and policies ensures a consistent implementation approach across the organization.
Providing support to other HR functions related to the execution of efficient solutions and appropriate documentation for internal and external audits ensures compliance with statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Enrolling new and promoted employees in Company benefits programs, including dependents as applicable.
- Monitoring employee lists to ensure all active employees are entitled to benefits and removing separated employees from programs.
- Facilitating timely and accurate availment of both company and statutory benefits programs.
- Communicating Statutory and Company benefit programs to all employees, including orientation of benefits programs for new employees, newly promoted employees, and to all employees on new/revised benefits programs.
- Calculating and processing accurate payroll deductions and payments.
- Preparing and submitting pertinent reports and records to governmental agencies, third-party vendor surveys, etc.
- Leading and supporting benefits-related projects such as wellness campaigns, policy rollouts, etc.
- Developing project plans related to benefits process enhancements.
- Ensuring Company compliance with statutory and labor laws.
- Assisting employees with C&B related questions.
- Handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Conducting business with the highest legal and ethical standards.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field.
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in benefits administration. Experience managing or supporting HR/benefits projects. Strong knowledge of employee benefits laws and regulations.
- Knowledge/Skills: Strong mathematical and computation skills; Extensive use of Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint; Strong ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively; Ability to resolve conflicts in a courteous and pleasant manner.
A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of employee benefits laws and regulations, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
