Security Compliance Expert

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Compliance Officer to lead our compliance operations. In this role, you will oversee the execution of security enablement projects and physical security issues within the Data Center.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in auditing, compliance, or security, with a strong background in Information Security, QISBC, or EHS certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audits & Certifications:
- Plan specialized site-level compliance audits (internal and external)
- Lead diverse site-level compliance certification projects and identify processes to be audited based on specific knowledge of criteria and controls
- Develop industry knowledge of standards
- Conduct/lead compliance audits, build niche reports, and communicate findings and risks to management
- Participate in external audits to provide subject matter expertise support
- E nsure any non-compliance findings are closed in a timely manner
- Management Systems:
- Involved in specialized changes and updates any local site-level management system assets by raising a document change request
- Provide specialized compliance input for site-level management review meetings
- Develop specialized local compliance procedures to align with local legislative requirements
- Training:
- Monitor and supervise any QISBC/EHS compliance-related training as required by the business, ensuring in-scope site personnel complete training within target dates
- Develop specialized local training materials/toolbox talks
- Manage and track relevant, diverse compliance training
- Provide specialized level training and inductions for new compliance personnel within a diverse scope
- Monitoring & Managing Site Operations:
- Required to travel from site to site on occasion to monitor and liaise with the site teams
- Provide oversight and support for relationship with physical security vendor
- Provide oversight and support for relationship with electronic security vendor
- May be required to assist with training & ongoing monitoring of vendors
- Assist with ensuring monthly work orders or preventative maintenance required in the physical/electronic security space are completed accordingly to global standards
- Integrate new sites or site expansions to Equinix standards within a diverse scope
- Involved in the managing of all Data Center business continuity exercise programs
