
Support Solutions Specialist

Our company is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Application Support Officer to provide responsive, user-focused assistance across our application environment.
This role will see you managing support tickets, troubleshooting issues, maintaining documentation, and assisting with onboarding, all while ensuring systems run smoothly and in line with service expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to and resolve application support requests in line with established SLAs, escalating issues where necessary.
- Troubleshoot technical and user issues across multiple platforms, logging feedback and suggesting enhancements.
- Maintain and update application support documentation, onboarding guides, and knowledge base articles.
- Assist with onboarding new staff, including access setup and application introductions.
- Monitor application performance, coordinate with vendors or contractors, and ensure service continuity.
- Support testing and rollout of system updates or new features, ensuring relevant documentation is updated.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather feedback, share knowledge, and promote a consistent user experience.
- Identify recurring issues and contribute to process or system improvements to enhance service delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of proven experience in application support or service desk.
- Hands-on experience with one or more of: Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform), ERP/CRM suites, Azure AD, and ticketing systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to assist users at varying technical skill levels.
