Key Finance Role

This position involves managing financial transactions, performing regular reconciliations, overseeing accounts payable/receivable and ensuring compliance in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute daily financial tasks including recording income and expenses, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and regulations.
  • Perform monthly activities such as journal entries, accruals and reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Conduct regular analysis and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement, providing insights to management as needed.
  • Prepare detailed reports summarizing financial activities and findings for review by senior management.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment approvals and collections, ensuring timely and accurate payments and receipts.
  • Collaborate with vendors and clients to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to billing or payments.
  • Support general accounting functions such as preparing financial statements, tax filings and audit documentation as required.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant financial regulations and standards, staying updated on changes in accounting principles and reporting requirements.
  • Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in operational processes and tools.
About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Previous experience in financial accounting is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite products, especially Google Sheets, Google Docs and Google Slides.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software.
  • Excellent interpersonal and public relations skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
  • Openness to feedback and willingness to learn.
  • Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach.
  • Ability to work onsite.
