Senior Accounting Professional

This is a remote position that requires a highly skilled and motivated individual to join the accounting operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the monthly close, financial reporting, and technical accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare month-end journal entries and reconciliations in accordance with US GAAP and company policies.
  • Perform trend analysis on balance sheet and income statement accounts, providing explanations for fluctuations.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
  • Support annual financial statement and statutory audits, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and related disclosures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including FP&A, FinOps, Tax, Legal, IT, HR, Payments, and Facilities.
  • Assist in implementing new accounting policies and maintaining proper documentation.
  • Handle ad-hoc accounting requests and projects as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent; CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in public accounting and/or industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of cash, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accruals, intercompany, equity, and financial reporting.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
  • Experience with NetSuite ERP system preferred.
