We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Professional to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and tax, preferably with experience in media or related sectors.

About the Role

As a Senior Management Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the company's financial operations.

Your primary responsibilities will include preparing and analyzing monthly management accounts, presenting financial results at management meetings, and managing external auditor relations.

You will also be responsible for partnering with commercial managers to prepare budgets and forecasts, as well as supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to prepare and analyze monthly management accounts
  • Presentation of financial results at management meetings
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and BAS/IAS returns
  • Management of external auditor relations and audit queries
  • Partnership with Commercial Managers to prepare budgets and forecasts
  • Support for Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in Australian accounting and tax, preferably in media or related sectors
  • A qualified accountant (CA/CPA preferred)
  • Relevant experience in diverse revenue streams such as memberships, events, and advertising
  • Sage Intacct experience is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with Chargebee and HubSpot is an advantage
