Senior Accounting Specialist Job Description

This senior accounting specialist position is a critical role within our organization, responsible for providing financial expertise and support to various departments. The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience and a strong proficiency in MYOB Premier.

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices accurately and in a timely manner, managing commission payments, preparing and maintaining Excel spreadsheets with complex formulas, handling payroll processing, preparing and submitting BAS statements, generating monthly financial reports, overseeing debt collection processes, and assisting in budgeting and financial forecasting.

  • Ensure compliance with Australian tax and payroll regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to support financial operations.

Key qualifications include:

  • Proficiency in MYOB Premier.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, including use of formulas.
  • Proven experience with Australian payroll and tax laws.
  • Experience preparing BAS and monthly financial reports.
