Job Description

As a detail-oriented professional, we are seeking an accomplished Data Specialist/Executive Assistant to join our team. This role involves managing and optimizing complex datasets, transitioning them to SQL or other database platforms, and providing administrative support to the executive team.

This position will entail analyzing data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and areas for operational improvement. The successful candidate will develop SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and organize data for reporting and decision-making purposes.

Maintaining database integrity is crucial in this role. The individual must ensure accuracy, security, and efficiency while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support data-driven initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Optimize Complex Datasets: Manage and optimize complex Excel-based datasets with potential migration to SQL or other database systems.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct data analysis to identify trends, inconsistencies, and areas for operational improvement.
  • SQL Query Development: Develop SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and organize data for reporting and decision-making purposes.
  • Database Integrity: Maintain database integrity, ensuring accuracy, security, and efficiency.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to executives, including managing schedules, organizing documentation, and facilitating communication.
  • Workflow Automation: Assist in workflow automation, enhancing business processes through database-driven solutions.
Qualifications and Skills

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in SQL: Proficiency in SQL (or similar database tools) for data management and analysis.
  • Microsoft Excel Expertise: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and automation features.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to work independently and problem-solve efficiently.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • QuickBooks Experience: Experience with QuickBooks for financial data management.
  • Power BI Familiarity: Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
  • Project Management Tools: Proficiency in Asana or other project management tools.
  • Workflow Automation Experience: Exposure to workflow automation and business process optimization.
  • Executive Support Experience: Previous experience in an executive support role.
