Accounts Payable Professional

Our organization is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Professional to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices.

Responsibilities:
  1. Invoice Management: Process and review vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  2. Payment Processing: Ensure timely payment of invoices and resolve any discrepancies in a prompt and professional manner.
  3. Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable transactions and maintain accurate financial records to ensure transparency and accountability.
  4. Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of month-end closing and financial reporting processes to provide stakeholders with reliable information.
  5. Communication: Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders to address inquiries and issues in a clear and concise manner.
  6. Process Improvement: Support the implementation and maintenance of accounts payable systems and processes to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  7. Data Entry: Perform data entry and maintain organized filing systems to ensure seamless document retrieval and storage.
  8. Audit Support: Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation as required to ensure regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles, analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
