**Job Description for Customer Service Coordinator at Mida Food Specialist**

The Customer Service Coordinator receives customer requests, quotations, orders, and lead times through various channels. This role makes quotations on standard items, writes orders, and relays pertinent order information to customers, ensuring seamless communication with other departments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Answering phone calls and taking orders from customers
  • Documenting customer's orders properly
  • Retrieving customer information, stock status, purchase order status, and making changes as needed
  • Contacting customers about out-of-stock items and finding resolutions
  • Providing product information and answering customer inquiries
  • Addressing order issues and customer complaints
  • Coordinating with Sales, R&D, and Operations regarding processed items and product allocation
  • Recommending and directing product substitution
  • Monitoring inventory levels of critical items
  • Turning over documents efficiently (invoices, credit memos, return slips)
  • Preparing daily sales reports
